Immigrants

As an immigrant myself I have never seen such disrespect for the United States of America. I remember my mother a single parent with four kids taking the risk to leave Haiti to come to America for a better life. That meant not seen her four kids for two and a half years. I know my mother and all the Haitian families that made this sacrifice were not protesting on the street demanding their legal status. It’s seems to me that people leave their country because they there was no opportunities to reach their dreams but they are working very hard to turn America into the place they left behind. It just does not make any sense. We have too many patriotic people who believe in this great country sitting around watching this happen. We have a bunch of people that has been elected to public office that we cannot figure out who they represent. I do not even know what to call them anymore.  How can the presidents of our great nation refuse to enforce immigration laws?   Yet he wants to force every American to buy health insurance or be penalized.  If a person breaks the law a cop should have the right to ask them to provide proper identification. In most countries in the world they ask for your passport. If we are going to have immigration laws they need to be enforced or why do we need to have them? If I cannot drive with a fake license why someone that’s not legal in this country is allowed to do so? If I need to pay for insurance every month why should someone who is illegal be allow driving without insurance?

We spend all this money to protect our borders yet we won’t enforce the law. Why not let everybody in? I think these guys in congress need to stop acting like they do not know the immigration laws in other countries. Why isn’t the government willing to deal with American businesses that break the law by hiring illegals?  It seems like we have become a society that refuses to make the tough choices even when we are sure that’s what we need to do. Just take a look at our federal budget fiasco. I heard a congressman on television state” the federal government budget is not like our household budget”. I guess that means you can spend more than you take in and still be okay.  I think American people would be shell shocked to see how immigration laws are enforced in other countries.

The first thing this new wave of immigrants does once they cross the border into the U.S  is to buy a three pack a fake drivers license, a fake social security card and a fake resident card. How should we deal with someone with that mentality because the fake Identification represents a law abiding person that got their identity stolen. This could lead to unpaid traffic tickets, accounts open in their names, bills in their names not getting paid or a warrant for their arrest.  Not counting other legal fees just to clear their good name. We have groups of people bringing illegal people for human trafficking and sex slaves. If I can figure out this much on how immigration laws can affect people in this country. Why can’t a bunch of guys who graduated from all these million dollar universities figure this out? I think our country has been getting sold right under our noses. The smell has become a little strong and the public smells it. I think at some point the smoke will begin to damage the inside of every one of us. It’s easy to see we are destroying ourselves from within. That was a prediction that was made by a Russian guy many years ago.
